Conference's thematic areas
1.- Relationships between music and literature in 19th-century song (strategies to integrate literary content and musical discourse, styles and topoi in 19th-century song, folklore in art songs, composers and literary circles, repertoire circulation)
2.- Influence of vocal msuic and literature on 19th-century piano music (influence of vocal music on 19th-century piano music; rhetorical and narrative elements in genres: nocturne, ballad, songs without words; piano works inspired by poems and literary texts, Spanish piano composition and European compositional models)
3.- Women's musical composition (the same themes, applied to compositions created by women in the 19th century)
