14-15 March 2025, online
University of Cambridge.
Proposals on any relevant topic are encouraged in all formats, including (but not limited to):
work-in-progress presentations (10-minute presentation + 20-minute discussion)
formal research presentations (20-minute presentation + 10-minute discussion)
panels/roundtable discussions on a topic/theme (flexible format/duration)
The languages of the conference are English and French. Proposals on any aspect of music in France during the long nineteenth century are welcome. Abstracts of no more than 150 words indicating chosen format (panel abstracts may be longer and should include speakers' details) should be submitted by Sunday, 1 December 2024, to Samuel Nemeth.
We ask that speakers indicate what their current time zone will be in March 2025. We anticipate that confirmations of acceptance will be made by 17 December. A preliminary programme will be prepared in consultation with presenters (to accommodate time zones and other access requirements) by early February 2025. Informal inquiries may also be made to the same email address.
Programme and organising committee: Katharine Ellis, Samuel Nemeth, Christy Sallee
