AMS Pre-Conference Symposium Sponsored by the AMS Popular Music Study Group
The AMS Popular Music Study Group is pleased to announce “The Future of Pop,” a symposium on the future of popular music studies to be held at Northeastern University on October 30-31, 2019 (immediately preceding the AMS Conference in Boston).
The symposium will feature keynote presentations by Jack Hamilton (University of Virginia), Loren Kajikawa (George Washington University), Shana Redmond (UCLA), and Francesca Royster (DePaul University). Other presenters include Corrigan Blanchfield, Eric Hung, Christa Bentley, Daphne Carr, Anthony Kwame Harrison, Victor Szabo, Philip Ewell, and K.E. Goldschmitt.
