UC Davis is pleased to host a celebration of the 500th anniversary of the birth of Cipriano de Rore (1515/6-1565). This celebration brings together scholarship and performance, with a two-day conference on 13-14 January 2016, and two concerts: a performance by the highly regarded Orlando Consort on 13 January and a performance by the UC Davis Early Music Ensemble on 14 January. Thanks to generous funding from the UC Humanities Research Institute and several offices and departments at UC Davis, the conference and concerts are free (registration is required). Questions?
