Musical Exchanges between Italy and Spain in the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries3-5 mai 2016, Rome Rome, Instituto Cervantes, Piazza Navona All proposals should be submitted by email no later than Sunday 13 March 2016 to <conferences -at- luigiboccherini.org>. organized by in collaboration with The scientific committee welcomes proposals that address the following themes, although other, related topics are also welcome: • Instrumental music in Spain and Italy Scholarly Committee : Simone Ciolfi (St. Mary's College, Rome – Notre Dame, IN); • Roberto Illiano (Centro Studi Opera Omnia Luigi Boccherini); Fulvia Morabito (Centro Studi Opera Omnia Luigi Boccherini) ; Sara Navarro Lalanda (Università degli Studi Guglielmo Marconi); Luca Lévi Sala (Yale University, New Haven, CT); Christian Speck (Koblenz Universität) Keynote Speaker: Juan-José Pastor Comín (Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha) ; Victor Sánchez Sánchez (Universidad Complutense de Madrid) The official languages of the conference are English, Italian and Spanish. Papers selected at the conference will be published in a miscellaneous volume. Papers are limited to twenty minutes in length, allowing time for questions and discussion. Please submit an abstract of no more than 500 words and one page of biography. With your proposal please include your name, contact details (postal address, e-mail and telephone number) and (if applicable) your affiliation. The committee will make its final decision on the abstracts by the end of March 2016, and contributors will be informed immediately thereafter.
