Call for Papers
The Rocky Mountain Chapter of the American Musicological Society will hold its annual meeting on March 3031, 2012, at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colorado. The meeting will be held jointly with the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Society for Music Theory.
The Chapter invites submissions of abstracts for papers to be read at the annual meeting. Papers should be 20 minutes long, and will be followed by a 10-minute discussion period. Submissions can be electronic or paper, and should include the following :
An anonymous proposal abstract of no more than 500 words. The proposal should represent the paper as fully as possible.
A cover letter containing the following information: title of the proposal, author¹s name, address, institutional affiliation, email address, and all audio-visual requirements.
Student submissions must include a letter of support from a faculty member.
Submissions (pdf, doc, or docx, or hard copy sent by mail) must be received no later than February 15, 2012. Send them to
