Égalemant connu sous le nom de Ibn al-Kutub (le fils des livres)
Historien et écrivain égyptien d'origine perse, consultant
sur les questions légales au Caire.
En 1467 il
est professeur de la Shaykhaniyya, en 1486 il est promu au Baybariyya du Caire.
Il perd perd son office en 1501 et se
retire à al-Rawda, une île sur le Nil.
